Christian Dunbar (CAPT, USN Ret.) is a 30-year Veteran Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) Officer previously served in significant strategic and diverse leadership roles across the military; Commanding Officer, Deputy Commander at multiple operational and training O6 Commands, the Director of Strategic Innovation at the NSW HQ Enterprise level with a resume of 11x deployments and is a decorated combat veteran 

Christian currently applies his leadership, and expertise in deep technology and corporate ventures for Strategy and Growth at OWTGlobal LLC focused on high-tech integration and services in the collaborative Unmanned and Autonomous Mobile Robotics Systems (UxS), Counter Unmanned Systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI) sectors providing highly reliable proven and emerging technology solutions in the Defense, Gov/Civil, and Commercial spaces.

Formerly assigned as the Director of Future Concepts and Innovation and AI Task Force Director at the Naval Special Warfare Command, he led the exploration, partnered ventures and development of Enterprise-level innovations focused on Disruptive and Transformational applications of horizon technologies for Special Operations and National Defense.  He is a recognized leader for the strategic and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Mobile Robotics in Human-Machine Teaming for asymmetric competitive advantage.  As a graduate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and Strategy, Christian excels at bridging the academia-industry-DoD/GOV-Capital Investment divides to enable innovation at scale and pace.

Christian is also a Cancer Survivor, and survivor of Service-Related Mental Health Trauma and Brain Trauma. As a fully recovered Survivor, he has passionately followed up on his in-service passion of taking care of people across his leadership tours and is applying not just his professional experience but also deeply personal experience toward the underserved space of Service Member and Veteran Cancer and Mental Health Support.  Christian is a volunteer and advisor for Soteria Precision Medicine and Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions as well as other support organizations.

A native of Omaha Nebraska, as a third-generation Eagle Scout he is dedicated to a lifetime of service to community and country.  Commissioned in 1993, as a graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in Aerospace Engineering, he attended and graduated Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in class 191.  He also holds an MS Defense Analysis (Irregular Warfare) and an MS Space Systems Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School.  CAPT Dunbar is a Tillman Scholar, a John Wooden Global Leadership Fellow.  His in-service professional awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Stars with Combat Distinguishing Device, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, other personal and unit awards and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
